Govt. Polytechnic, Sundernagar, Distt. Mandi is the first premier institute established in the year 1959 in Himachal Pradesh. The campus is situated on Chandigarh – Manali National Highway (NH-21) at a distance of 175 Km. from Chandigarh towards Manali. The campus is spread over 23.75 acres of lush green land and is surrounded by beautiful hills. The training center is approx.  2 Kilometers from Sundarnagar Bus Depot. Sundarnagar has very good connectivity by a 4-lane highway.
